A unique path that leads through the valleys of East Veronese, on the ridges of Eastern Lessinia.
You can start from San Bortolo di Selva di Progno and walk through all the towns of the area, from Cazzano di Tramigna to Tregnago, from Illasi to Badia Calavena until you reach Soave.
Discover the places and the ancient traditions that wind along the "vecia via della lana", the path travelled in the past centuries for pasturing and for the transport of raw wool, from the mountains to the plains. You will find yourself walking through a network of old paths, dirt roads and mule tracks, cleaned up thanks to a project financed by the GAL Baldo Lessinia, which connect very different areas: the woods of Lessinia, the olive groves and cherry trees of the Tramigna Valley and the vineyards of Soave are a backdrop of this itinerary.
Length: the itinerary, which accessible by bike and on foot (over several days), is about 27.5 km. There are also variants of the route, for a total of 48.5 km.
Difference in altitude: about 868 metres.
