The Lessinia Legend MTB can be covered in two distances: the Classic of 55 km is a route predominantly at altitude, through the high paths of Lessinia, where you will first encounter hamlets, then malghe and refuges, crossing the Translessinia from West to East and returning to the town of Bosco Chiesanuova, with a maximum elevation gain of 1800 m.
Departure and Arrival: Bosco Chiesanuova. The municipalities touched by this route are Bosco Chiesanuova, Erbezzo, Ala, and Roverè Veronese.
Km: 55
Elevation Gain: 1740 meters
The Extreme is a route for the more tenacious: 100 km of ups and downs through trails, old mule tracks, cart tracks, and ridge lines, with a total ascent of 3600 meters, passing from the High Lessinia of Castelberto and Pozza Morta down to Giazza on the Gosse trail and ascending again for Malga Lobbia, then further towards San Mauro di Saline, Conca dei Parpari and back towards Bosco Chiesanuova.
Departure and Arrival: Bosco Chiesanuova
Km: 100
Elevation Gain: 3600 meters
But the extraordinary beauty of this landscape will make you forget the effort; the Lessinia plateau is among the most eclectic in the world: dotted with malghe where alpine cheese is still produced, interspersed with hundreds of hamlets and Giassàre featuring typical Lessinia stone roofs, enclosed within the borders of the Regional Natural Park with an unparalleled floro-faunal richness (deer, fallow deer, roe deer, marmots, eagles, ancient beeches, red firs, wild orchids, and much more) and natural monuments such as the Ponte di Veja, the Covolo di Camposilvano and the Valley of the Sphinxes, the Cave of Monte Capriolo.
