SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20: Wildlife excursion in Lessinia to listen to male deer as they perform their roar during the mating season. Thanks to these powerful calls, audible from kilometers away, males try to assert themselves against their "rivals in love" to gain access to females. During the excursion, we will talk about the biology and behavior of these ungulates and more. Participants are advised to follow the guide's instructions throughout the night excursion to respect wildlife.
CLOTHING and EQUIPMENT: layered clothing, a jacket that protects from the cold, gloves and a hat, trekking shoes, flashlight (preferably headlamp). Water and snacks.
No dogs are allowed during this excursion.
