To the Deserter a film by Alessandro Anderloni

The story of Alessandro Anderloni, born in Velo in 1881, sent to fight a war he did not want, shot by the Carabinieri when he fled from the Asiago Plateau to return to his loved ones. Based on the homonymous theatrical performance, a film about the inhumanity of war and on the side of the poor dogs who suffer it and die because of it.
