Forests, meadows, and hamlets are the characteristic landscapes of the mid-Lessinia. Discover them with this itinerary from Bolca to Peri, passing through the majestic Ponte di Veja. Among the three ridges, this one is the closest to the plain, rich in populated centers and hamlets, on the border between hill and mountain. The most recommended time is spring to admire stunning carpets of flowers.

The starting point of the route is at the Museo di Bolca. From the parking lot near the museum, follow path 252 towards San Bortolo delle Montagne. Upon nearing the village, stay on path 252 until you reach the SP 17a which climbs towards Campofontana, near a bend with a pillar. Continue for about a kilometer until you encounter a first fork on the left, from which a road starts, initially paved and then unpaved, that leads to the hamlet of Ramponi (999 m). Continue along the path climbing through the meadow to reach the hamlet of Brea (1065) and then resume towards the south on the unpaved road until the edge of the forest. Cross the forest that descends steeply to the hamlet of Anselmi, where you can admire a beautiful frescoed chapel and, after the paved road, take the left path that emerges next to the church of Selva di Progno (m. 570 - 2.00 hours).

After crossing the provincial road, continue west along the paved road leading to the hamlet Xami (655 m). Follow the path that winds up into the forest on the left until reaching the Covoli di Velo and, at the junction with the paved road, continue on it southwest until you reach the hamlet of Tezze (923 m). Turn right onto the unpaved road that, passing through the hamlets of Recce and Valle, leads to Velo Veronese (m. 1.087 - 2.00 hours, total: 4.00).

South of the village, where the bus parking is located, take the unpaved road that climbs to the right until reaching the hamlets of Frulle and Cà Vittoria. Follow the path that enters the forest, bypass the hamlet of Salaorno and continue until arriving at a meadow and a barn: the Gorgo; continue through the woods until you hit the unpaved road leading to Capraia (988 m). From here, continue on the paved road until reaching Roverè Veronese (m. 843 - 1.10 hours, total: 5.10).

From the square, continue along the road that leads to San Francesco until reaching the first hamlet, Snell, where an ancient path begins to the west along which an old column from 1667 can be found. Pass through the hamlets of Scardon and Campari and continue until reaching an isolated house from which, to the right, a descending path leads to Squaranto (m. 680 - 1.10 hours, total: 6.20).

The route crosses the nearby valley floor and then climbs steeply up the opposite slope until reaching the hamlet of Grobbe where, after passing under SP 6, it continues as a road until Corbiolo (m. 837 - 0.40 hours, total: 7.00)*.

*Variant: from Grobbe, it is possible to reach Cerro Veronese by taking the southern path that passes by the old quarry and continues along the hamlets of Regno and Zambelli until emerging on the provincial road and descending to the village center (m. 730 - time from Grobbe: 0.40).

Cross the village of Corbiolo heading north, take the first paved road on the left, and continue, maintaining a westward direction, until reaching the cabin of Chiusa; continue north along the road, first flat and then slightly uphill, until Valbo. Pass in front of the houses, resume the path until reaching a cabin and turn left for 200 meters until you reach the hamlet of Morandin (m. 930 - hours: 1.00, total: 8.00).

Resume the descending path in the forest until you reach a fountain, to the right of which the unpaved road allows access to Segai. Turn north and, after about 300 meters, take the path that descends to the left into the Vaio dell'Anguilla and climbs fairly steeply up to the ridge leading down to Erbezzo, where it connects with the European Path E5 (m. 920 - 1.10 hours, total: 9.10). Proceed to the left and reach the hamlet of Portello, and then continue west until reaching the hamlet of La Rocca and from here the Basasenoci bridge (480 m). Stay on the paved road and continue north for about 300 meters, now proceed on the path that branches to the left and shortly reach the Ponte di Veja where the itinerary concludes (m. 611 - hours 1.30, total: 10.40).

It is possible to extend the itinerary to reach Peri (Dolcè), but there is no track present here.
