The days of conferences, excursions, workshops, and shows offer an in-depth perspective on “Root Tourism,” exploring the challenges and opportunities related to the migratory history of Lessinia. The excursions among the Cimbrian hamlets and the paths of the giassare will allow participants to immerse themselves in the beauty of the territory and understand the historical significance of the work related to this place.
THE MUSEUM.
The reopening of the Ethnographic Museum, renovated thanks to the support of Gal Baldo Lessinia, represents a key moment of the event. The temporary exhibition “Returns: Explorations of Lands of Origin” offers a passionate look at emigration from Lessinia, allowing visitors to explore the stories of those who made departure a fundamental chapter of their family history.
THE SHOW.
The event calendar, which concludes with the theatrical performance “The Bridge Over the Oceans”, touches on profound themes such as the school of grandparents, wool processing, and the conference on emigration from Lessinia. These initiatives aim to preserve and share the stories of a community that, in migrating, has brought with it a rich cultural heritage.
